On Wednesday, May 24th, the SciFY team, along with the INNOVATHENS Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub of the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens, organized the first part of a seminar series dedicated to Intelligent Systems.
Technologists, entrepreneurs and representatives of the IT industry, researchers and students of various faculties, and even journalists came to INNOVATHENS to attend the 19th SciFY Academy.
Dr. George Giannakopoulos, researcher of the Knowledge and Software Technology Laboratory of EKEFE “Demokritos” and CTO of SciFY, introduced us to the field of Intelligent Systems. Μore specifically:
- The value of artificial intelligence
- Concepts of intelligence and artificial intelligence
- Natural and Artificial systems exhibiting intelligence
- Functions of intelligent systems
- Intelligent systems with different sciences
After the end of the presentation, a dialogue and an interactive workshop followed, where the aim was for the participants to fully understand the concept and the future of Artificial Intelligence. As always, after the end of the presentation, there was time to answer audience questions.
