SciFY and the ECAS organization invite you to the event: “Digital Transformation: For some or for all?”, on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 9:30, which will take place at HIGGS (15 Victoros Ougo street, Athens 104 37).

Civil society organizations and members, experts, decision-makers, and citizens will discuss to co-create guidelines for an inclusive Digital Transformation in Europe. The event “Digital Transformation: For Some or For All?”, aims to address the main challenges to inclusion in five areas:
- Digital Democracy,
- Digital Economy,
- Digital Safeguards,
- Digital Rights, and
- Digital Education.
Initially, Dr. Giorgos Giannakopoulos, Artificial Intelligence Researcher in NCSR “Demokritos” & Co-founder & CEO, SciFY, will present us with the state of Digital Reform in Greece today.
Then, Elisa Lironi, Programme Director – European Democracy of ECAS, will talk to us about Civil Society and Digital Policies of the European Union. (The presentation will be in English)
This will be followed by the interactive discussion section, where participants will have the opportunity to discuss and co-design policies for each of the above areas through live (anonymous) voting and open-ended questions. The guidelines to be discussed and co-created have been shaped by recommendations received from 1200 Civil Society members. (The discussion will be held in English)
Finally, the event will conclude with a networking session and light lunch.

The event is aimed at members and Civil Society Organizations, social scientists, scientists and researchers in the field of technology, entrepreneurs, professionals in the field of education, companies in the field of technology, policymakers, civil servants, and above all, citizens interested in Digital Transformation.
The aim of the event is to encourage dialogue and cooperation between the Civil Society, decision-makers, experts, and above all, citizens to co-create guidelines that can guide an inclusive digital transformation in Europe. Bringing together stakeholders from different fields, the event aims to create a comprehensive set of guidelines that take into account the needs and perspectives of all Europeans.
Attendees will have the opportunity to join a collective effort to co-create guidelines for an inclusive digital transformation in Europe.
